August
14th is a day of great importance for all Pakistanis. It is the day
Pakistan came into being 67 years ago. Freedom and independence was achieved
after a great struggle and at the cost of thousands of precious lives. This
special day is celebrated by all with great
fervor and enthusiasm.
The
Sindh Govt Hospital, Liaquatabad
celebrates this occasion too, in a very special way. Joined by HOPE a healthoriented NGO in Pakistan, the offices were
decorated with the national colours, flags and flowers of all kinds.
Even the cakes made for this special
holiday were made in the national colours of green and white with special participation of
HOPE, an NGO in Pakistan.
To
mark the beginning of the festivity at The Sindh Govt Hospital, Liaquatabad, Dr Mubina Agboatwalla, child specialist in Karachi and chairperson of HOPE and her
little son were invited to cut the cakes.
